The washed and dried buffalo tails range in length from 10" to 20". They are stiffer than tanned buffalo tails.Buffalo are ranch raised in the U.S. or Canada and are not an endangered species.A USFWS export permit is required for all shipments outside the USA.

We get a limited number of washed and dried cow tails each year from the USA. These are nice, full tails. They are clean and nice to work with for a variety of craft purposes. The tanned cow tails are a little softer and more flexible than the dried cow tails. The washed tails are 20" to 38" long. Cow are not endangered. The cows were not killed just for their tails.

The goat tails are washed in hot soapy water and then treated with formaldehyde and dried. They are not tanned. Sizes range from 5" to 8". They come in a variety of natural colors.The goatskins are a by-product of the food industry. These skins are not subject to USFWS export controls. They are NOT endangered.

Woodchucks are also known as groundhogs, whistle pigs or land beavers.
