This is a pair of Angora Wooly Chaps custom made for Chichester in the USA.

Wooly chaps, originally designed to protect cowboys in colder climates, became popular in the late 1800s and are still highly sought after today. They are warm and durable, making them ideal for winter work, but their distinctive look also makes them popular with Wild West Show performers.

These chaps are assembled from high quality angora goatskins from Argentina and cow leather from South America.

Angora goats and cows are not endangered. The skins are a by-product of the food industry. The animals were not killed just for their skins. There are no export controls on this item.
