The prairie gold elk leather pieces are 12" by 18".
The pieces are cut from topgrain elk leather. Heavy and durable, this leather is similar to moose leather. They are grainy and suitable for making moccasins or gloves, and can be used for projects needing leather that is sturdy, soft and pliable.
The leather hides used are near perfect hides, but allow for some minor defects on the pieces.
We can also cut project pieces to order. If we do not have enough of a certain size in stock or if you want a size that we do not currently offer, please contact us by phone or email and we will let you know if we can cut more or create them to your specifications.
Elk are not an endangered species, and are not killed just for their skins.
A U.S. Fish & Wildlife export permit is required for all shipments outside of the United States.
