This is kalgan lambskin fur scraps. Kalgan lambskin have curly hair, but they are not as tight as the Pearl Lamb. The hair is between 1" and 1.5" long. It is a mix of natural white and bleached white kalgan lambskin scraps.The Kalgan lambskins are a by-product of the food industry. The animals were not killed just for their skin.

We have reindeer fur scrap that is left over from making parkas, mitts, and sleeping bags for a documentary in Greenland recreating the race to the South Pole between Scott and Amundsen. One pound of reindeer scrap is equivalent to approximately 4 to 5 pieces of the sizes shown above. Sizes vary from small, medium, to the large piece shown with the Pepsi can above. You will get a range of sizes; we do not sort by size.
