Castrated male cattle are called steers. Sometimes they are called bullocks. The weathered steer skulls with horns do not have lower jaws. They have been cleaned.The steer skulls are a by-product of the food industry and were not just killed for their skulls.We cannot ship steer skulls to Canada because of concerns over BSE (Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy).
