These are fashion quality Tuscany lambskins, also called Toscana lambskins, from Spain. The black tipped skins have white hair with black tips.
As it is a natural product, the skins come in different patterns and sizes. They average around 4 to 4.5 square feet. Hair length is approximately 1 inch.
To give you an idea of the size, one 4.5 square foot lamb skin measured 30.5" long and 15.5" wide down the middle.
Tuscany lamb are not an endangered species. The skins are a by-product of the food industry - the animals are not killed just for their hides.
