Smaller than the traditional False Face masks, these unique False Face Guardian Masks are hand-carved from wood with deerskin leather ties for the hair and a loop for hanging at the top. Each one is different.The mask alone measure about 3" long and are 2" to 2.5" wide. They weigh approximately 25 grams. They may or may not come signed by the artist.

These tee-pees were made by Ojibwa artisans in Ontario, Canada. They are made with birchbark, trimmed with porcupine quills and come with a canoe. The 3" tee-pees are about 4.5" high and 3" wide at the base. They weigh about 18 grams each.A USFWS export permit is required for all shipments outside the USA.

The souvenir totem poles are carved from white cedar harvested in Canada by Ojibwa artisans and are hand painted. They are hand embroidered with various colorful designs. A USFWS export permit is required for all shipments outside of the U.S.

Among the Iroquois, the larger rattles are used in Social Dances and ceremonial songs.

These are dried sweetgrass braids from the Canadian prairies. The sweetgrass is picked and braided by the Ojibwa or Cree. The sweetgrass braids are 24" to 30" long, and the thickness will vary as they are braided by hand. The average weight of one braid is 16 grams. This item is not fit for human consumption. There are no export controls for this item.

These beaded mitts are made with soft cow suede and rabbit fur and are lined with acrylic fleece. They are considered a medium size that will fit most women, but they will probably be too small for most men. They are made by a Metis craftsperson in Canada.
