Japanese Sea Scallop Shells

These scallop shells can be used as serving dishes for seafood or for craft use. They will have to be cleaned before they can be used to serve food. They come in assorted sizes. We measured a few shells and they were approximately 4.75" to 6.25" (12 to 16 cm) at the widest point and about 1 mm thick. A group of five shells weighed 261 grams.
