The backscratchers are made from real chicken feet attached to a wooden stick. The feet are about 4" long and 1.5" wide. The backscratcher is 21" long and weigh about 0.06 lbs.

The feathers are 3-6" long and are strung in strands that measure 20" to 50" long. One 34" strand weighs about 1/10 of a pound. They are a natural color (not dyed). You can order in half-pound increments. Click HERE to see what a pound of hackle looks like--it's a lot of feathers.

These are real chicken skulls. The upper and lower jaws may be separate or glued together. They measure approximately 3" long, 1.25" wide, and 1.5" high. They weigh approximately 0.1 oz. There are no export controls for this item.

The natural chinchilla coque rooster tail feathers are approximately 4" to 6" long. They are strung and the feathers are sewn across the bottom near the quill. The price is by the pound. 

These are trading post quality chinchilla skins. They are good quality skins with no tails. The skins average around 14" to 15" long and 2.5" to 3" wide.  As these are natural products, there will be some variation in the color and size of the skins. Chinchillas have the densest fur of all land mammals.  Chinchilla fur is very soft and velvet-like and are in high demand for clothing and accessories. Farmed chinchillas are not subject to CITES.  These are NOT wild skins...

The Chinese Gray squirrel skins are about 8" to 10" long including the head and 4" to 5" wide. The skins are chrome-tanned in China and generally do not have tails. Squirrels are not endangered.Please Note: Not for sale in California. A USFWS export permit is required for all shipments outside the USA.

The turbo shell operculum comes from the Turbo imperialis sea snail. The operculum is a corneous or calcareous structure like a trapdoor which is used to close the aperture of the shell when the soft parts of the snail are retracted. Opercula may be ground up and used to make incense and perfumes or as an organic "gemstone" in rings, bracelets, amulets, and other decorative ornaments.The opercula measure 1.5" to 2" long and weigh between 21 to 36 grams (0.7 to 1.2 oz.).
