These soapstone pipe bowls are made by Ramon Mitten (Six Nations, Seneca band 1503), an Iroquois artist in upstate New York. Our pipe bowls can be used with our wood pipe stems to make your own pipes. These are craft supply items, so you may need to modify the size of the hole to make the pipe stem fit properly. Please note that because they are hand-carved there will be some variation. The Turtle Pipe Bowl is 4.5" long, 2.5" wide, and 2" high with a 0.5" hole for the pipe stem.
These cowtail stingray rawhide are professionally prepared in Thailand. The hide is very stiff and feels like sandpaper. Stingray rawhide is frequently use for making Japanese sword handles. A USFWS export permit is required for all shipments outside the USA. This species of stingray is not an endangered species and is not subject to CITES.
The nickel jump rings are 10 mm in diameter. The inside diameter is 8 mm. They come in 100 gram bags that contain approximately 270 jump rings. They are perfect for use in attaching small items like teeth and pendants to necklaces. We use these jump rings to make our water buffalo tooth necklaces and bone turtle necklaces.There are no export controls for this item.
These premium quality iron rings are brass-plated to keep them from rusting and to keep your fingers clean while working with them. The welds have been filed so that there are no rough edges. They can also be used to make mandelas.The measurements are the outside diameter. For example, the inside measurement of the 2" ring is 1 7/8". Most of the rings are made from 1/8" thick wire. The 27" ring is 1/4" thick.
This lacing can be used for a multitude of craft projects and jewelry. Water buffalo are not an endangered species. There are no export controls for this item.
