Regular coyote tails are 10" to 16” long. These reject coyote tails are half or quarter size tails or the tails have major problems. Overall appearance is poor. Coyote are common in the United States and Canada and are not endangered. A USFWS export permit is required for all shipments outside the USA.

These horse tails have been de-boned, scraped, washed and dried. The first 6" or so at the base of the tail where it attached to the body is quite hard and stiff. On the tanned horse tails, this part is a little softer and more flexible than on the dried horse tails. This part of the tail is about 3" to 4" wide. The short horse tails are under 39" long.
