This is a dyed and sheared nutria skin. The hair on this skin has been sheared to a consistent length. This skin is open (i.e., not cased) and does not have a tail.Nutria are not an endangered species. A U.S. Fish & Wildlife export permit is required for all shipments outside the U.S.

These are dyed Silver fox tails. When you order this item, you will get an assortment of colors. Most of the dyed fox tails we have come from either natural Blue fox skins or white Shadow fox skins. They could also come from Silver fox skins.Unlike most manufactured items, furs and fur products can vary tremendously in quality. The Black Dyed rabbit skins are a mix of the better grade rabbit skins that have been dyed black in Spain. The black-dyed skins are about the same size as the better grade skins. Some will be a bit smaller because the skins tend to shrink somewhat when dyed. You will be impressed with the quality of the dye job. These skins will not lose their color if they get wet.
