The necklaces have pendants that are hand-carved in Ecuador by indigenous artisans using sliced tagua nut. There is a glazed ceramic bead above the pendant. These necklaces have nylon cords that can be tied at the back. The pendants are approximately 1" by 1.25" and 0.2" thick (2.5 by 3.25 cm and 0.5 cm thick) and weighs approximately 4 to 10 grams or 0.5 ounce or less. The color of the bead used will vary.
