These are quality tanned beaver skins. We offer a variety of sizes and grades. The larger the size, the higher the price. The better the grade, the higher the price. Except for the beaver skins with tails, these skins do not have tails.

The #1/#2 skins are very nice quality for decoration or for craft projects requiring the best skins available. They do not have any significant imperfections.

If you are trying to make something with the beaver skins (like a blanket or throw or pillows), please keep in mind that the useable size will be smaller than the maximum dimensions. Please do not hesitate to ask for help with measurements if needed.

Beaver are not an endangered species. They are not subject to CITES. They are very common in Canada and parts of the United States.

A USFWS export permit is required for all shipments outside of the U.S.

We do not recommend shipping beaver skins to Germany. We had a beaver skin shipment returned by German customs in November 2012.

The sizes shown are for tanned skins and are approximate. The extra-large skins are also commonly known as blanket beavers because of their sizes.
