The unpolished broken Mexican green abalone shell pieces are sold by the pound. The pieces come in assorted sizes for crafts or inlay.
Please note that the photos above show a half-pound of shell (not one pound) and you will get an assortment similar to that pictured, but not the exact lot shown. There will be some variation from lot to lot.
These are broken pieces that have not been tumbled and may have sharp edges. They are ideal for inlay work.
When exported from the USA, Mexican abalone shells are subject to USFWS export processing fees at overseas rates, not at NAFTA rates as one would think.
