Native Made in Canada

Most of the carvings are made on the Six Nations Iroquois Reservation in Ontario, Canada. Some carvings are made by Iroquois artisans in the USA.

We get a limited number of moose antler key chains carved into eagle heads. These eagle head keychains are carved out of moose antler by Clyde Drew, a Micmac artist in Newfoundland, Canada. Moose are not an endangered species. A USFWS export permit is required for all shipments outside the USA.

The False Face Carvings vary in both size and quality. Those in the lower price points are smaller (about 2") and less detailed, and those in the higher price points tend to be larger (about 4") and more detailed. They come in assorted designs.

These are dried sweetgrass braids from the Canadian prairies. The sweetgrass is picked and braided by the Ojibwa or Cree. The sweetgrass braids are 15" to 24" long, and the thickness will vary as they are braided by hand. This item is not fit for human consumption. There are no export controls for this item.
