These are approximately 25-gram (0.8 ounce) bags of oil-painted dentalium vernedei shells from India. The pieces are a mix of sizes with the majority of shells ranging from approximately 1" to 1.5" long.
Please note, there may be some broken shells that are going to be smaller, perhaps, as little as 0.5" as well as some shells that will be a tad longer than 1.5". Each bag will vary to some degree.
There will be approximately 80 to 100 shells in each bag.
You will not receive the exact shells from the photos but ones very similar.
Also note that we have tested these on a paper towel and did not notice any bleed, but cannot be responsible for damage to garments or other items. Please do your own testing and use at your own risk.
A USFWS export permit is required for all shipments outside the USA.
