Our Stingray leather is used in knife, gun and motorcycle upholstery for decorative purposes. This leather has a unique rough texture (unlike any other leather). The beautiful white diamond at the center of the skin is the most attractive feature of this unique leather. And yes, you can feel the distinctive shape and texture of the diamond with closed eyes!
The suede side of the hide is soft.
Jumbo Stingray Leather averages around 32" to 36" long by 16" to 17" wide.
We measured one skin to be 29" long (not including the tail) by 15" wide, and it weighed 0.75 pounds.
This species of stingray is not an endangered species and is not subject to CITES.
A USFWS export permit is required for all shipments outside the USA.
