This is TOPGRAIN 3 to 3.5 ounce deerskin leather - often called Buckskin as well. It has a smooth side (skin side) and a rough side (suede side). We sell deerskin leather by the full hide. The full hides vary in size from about 4 square feet to 12 square feet. The average size is 10-12 square feet. Each hide is marked with its size. This lot of leather is medium-weight deersplit in a gold color. The pieces range between 2 to 4 square feet. This is a decent grade and is ideal for craft projects. You can order by the pound. Individual pieces are not marked with size measurements.A USFWS export permit is required for all shipments outside the USA.

The #1/#2 snow white deersplit leather is sold by the piece. The pieces average 6 to 9 square feet. You will be charged only for what you get. No returns on cut leather. The snow white leather is particularly nice. The firm we get this from uses a special process that colors the inside of the leather as well as the exterior. We only get this once a year in the spring--feel free to place your orders early.
