This turtle bone pendant necklace is made with a carved water buffalo bone pendant hung on a cow leather cord. The cord can be adjusted from 20 to 26 inches. The necklace is decorated with water buffalo bone hairpipe and other beads.This necklace is assembled from non-Native components by Allen Idzenga (164 - Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte), an Iroquois artist in upstate New York. A USFWS export permit is required for all shipments outside the USA.

These high quality bone pendants are made from domesticated water buffalo bone. You will not receive the exact pieces shown in the photos but ones similar. There is some variation from piece to piece as these are all hand carved. The turtle bone pendants are approximately 3.75" long and 1.125" wide. In metric, this is approximately 9.375 cm long by 2.8 cm wide. A box of 100 pieces weighs about 2 lbs. 4 oz. Domesticated water buffalo are not endangered.
