Botanicals & Smudging

These beautiful smudge pots are hand-carved and etched with various designs by an Iroquois artist. They are made of soapstone and come in flat or rounded styles. For our current designs, see the pictures above. The 4" to 5" pots weigh 13 oz, and the 2" to 3" pots weigh 5 oz.

The mannagrass braids are an alternative to sweetgrass braids. The color is different and it smells grassy, not as sweet, as sweetgrass. The mannagrass is picked and braided by the Sioux Valley First Nation in Canada. It is commonly known as great manna grass, reed mannagrass, reed sweetgrass, and greater sweetgrass.The braids are approximately 27.5” to 49” long. We do not sort by size.
