Our Dahl sheep horns were pre-cut into knife handle material sized pieces.This piece has a nice coloring, with browns, tan, and some red. The cut side has a lighter coloring and is nice and smooth. These are real alligator teeth. The small teeth measure 1" to 1.25" long. You will not receive the exact teeth shown in the photos but something similar. The keyhole sand dollars measure approximately 3" to 3.75" in diameter. These round sand dollars can be used for wedding favors, shell wreaths, shell mirrors, Christmas ornaments, beach theme decorations, and other craft projects.

These are tanned white-tailed, or whitetail, deer skins. They have a reddish-brown coat in the spring and summer that turns to gray-brown in the fall and winter. This deer has a distinctive white underside to its tail. Please note that deer have a hollow hair and are not ideal for rugs. If you walk on them or let a large dog sit on them, the hair will break and shed over time. These cross necklaces are made using real Texas Western diamondback rattlesnake skins. The rattlesnake skin is cut into a cross shape and mounted on a black leather cross shape measuring 3.5" long by 2.75" wide. It is hung on a 20" long black leather strap. This bobcat skin with feet is cased. Bobcat is no longer listed on the U.S. endangered species list. Bobcat are covered by CITES (as are all members of the cat family) and are not for export from the United States without a CITES permit. Not for sale in California and New Jersey.

This is full grain North American bison (buffalo) leather. The difference between our Buffalo Upsholstry Leather styles is in the texture and finish. These are sold by the half hides which range in size from 11 to 23 sq. ft. The buffalo are not killed just for the hides. The hides are a by-product of the meat industry. Domesticated buffalo are not endangered.

These imitation eagle feathers are white rooster feathers that have had the tips dyed black. The feathers come as a mix of left and right wing feathers. Roosters/Chickens are not an endangered species and are not subject to CITES controls. The rooster feathers are a by-product of the food industry.

These are weathered nilgai skulls with horns. They do not have the mandibles. The #1 grade skulls are the nicest and generally have a nice skull and horns. The #2 grade skulls have broken skulls. These are real deer leg front tendons (sinew) have been cut out and dried. We sort them by size. They are approximately 1/8" to 3/16" thick. As there can be tremendous variation from tail to tail in terms of size, shape, color, pattern, etc., we have photographed each tail one by one so you see what you will be getting. The skunks were legally harvested in the wild (mostly in the U.S.) and purchased from fur auctions in Canada. We then tan them in the United States. These tails are dyed right to the roots and an extra process leaves the tails very clean of dyes and natural oils. They are 10" to 12" (25 to 30 cm) long. The river cooter turtle is a freshwater turtle native to the central and eastern United States. We measured a skull to be 2" long, 1.5" wide, weighing 5 grams. The upper and lower jaws may be separate or glued together. River cooter turtles are not an endangered species. No export to the European Union due to their laws. A USFWS export permit is required for all exports outside of the U.S.

They come in different sizes and shapes. Castrated male cattle are called steers. Sometimes they are called bullocks. The weathered steer skulls with horns do not have lower jaws. They have been cleaned.The steer skulls are a by-product of the food industry and were not just killed for their skulls.We cannot ship steer skulls to Canada because of concerns over BSE (Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy).

The #2 or second quality quahog shells are full shells with just a touch of purple and/or minor chips. These are sold by the half shell; they do not come in pairs.
