These are decent quality, tanned muskrat skins with tails. They are approximately 11" to 16" from the nose to the base of the tail. Some of the muskrats are cased and some are not. Uncased (open), the muskrat are 5.5" to 7" wide. Cased they would be half as wide. One skin weighs 1.8 oz. Muskrat are not endangered.A USFWS export permit is required for all shipments outside the USA.

The American Gray squirrel skins are cased and they come with tails. They are 16" to 21" long, including the tail, and 3" to 3.5" wide. They weigh approximately 1.5 oz. Squirrels are not endangered. This coprolite has fossilized over millions of years (so don't worry, it doesn't smell anymore). The dino dung pieces are approximately 1" to 2". The fossilized coprolite is rough (not polished).  It comes packaged with a card.

Dinosaur bones were fossilized over time as moisture permeated the cell structure leaving behind a build-up of minerals. These specimens were collected from the Morrison Formation of the Jurassic Period. They are approximately 140 million years old.The dinosaur bone comes in a plastic bag hanging on a card. Each piece is about 1.25" to 2.5" long by 1" to 1.5" wide.

These are dyed calf tails which are great for craft projects or fly-tying. These tails have the bone-in; the bone is thin. These tails are dyed right to the roots and an extra process leaves the tails very clean of dyes and natural oils. They are 10" to 12" (25 to 30 cm) long. Each 1/2 pound (8 oz.) bag contains smooth, full-grain, heavy (5 to 7 oz.) cow leather strips and pieces in a range of earth tones (e.g., beiges, creams, blacks, browns, tans). They vary in size and color as seen in the picture above. We cannot sort these by color or shape.

We sell assorted premium leather scrap in 1/2 lb. (8 oz.) bags and by the pound. The 8 oz. bags contain lightweight (<4 oz. weight) suede scrap in assorted cow, goat, pig, or deer leathers. The scraps sold by the pound are nice lightweight leather. Colors range from earth tones to brighter colors. This scrap comes in different shapes, sizes, and colors. Unfortunately, we can not sort this product and cannot guarantee similar colors and shapes throughout an order.
